The Village Lodge Taupo hosts a variety of different reunions, family reunions, birthday functions, social club weekends & other functions. Situated in the centre of the North Island's playground Taupo is readily accessible from other North Island regions. The Lake Taupo area is "alive" with fun & exciting things to do & The Village Lodge is in the centre of it all!
The Lodge is located in The Wairakei Village seven minutes north of Taupo & is minutes from the Huka Falls, Prawn Park & Restaraunt, Honey Hive, Huka Jet & Craters of the Moon.
The Lodge is also a 10 minute drive from the Taupo Motor Sport Park. The team at The Village Lodge have extensive knowledge of what the Taupo area has to offer and can organise any activities your group may require.
The Lodge building contains 23 rooms seven of which are doubles & 16 twins (two single beds), a total of 46 people all under the one roof. The comfortable beds are made up with fresh linen & towels are provided for your convenience. The rooms are individually heated & contain a small wardrobe & vanity.
The Large T.V lounge has comfortable couches & a warm fire for those chilly winter nights. The kitchen contains a fridge, jug, toaster, microwaves cutlery & crockery. Tea & coffee is also available.
The Village Lodge catering team can supply all meals & menu's can be designed to suit your requirements & budget.
Meals are homestyle simple, tasty & served buffet style. Roast dinners are very popular with our guests & of course nothing beats a BBQ on a warm summer evening.
The Lodge dining room can seat 40 people & the licenced bar can be stocked with your favourite drinks.
