From North (Auckland via Hamilton): Travelling South on State Highway One about 350 metres before the turn off to Taupo on the left is the entrance to Wairakei Village (Kauri Drive). Follow the road into the village where you will arrive at the Village Green. You will then see a kiddies playground. The entrance to the Lodge is behind the playground.
From North (Rotorua): 11km from Taupo on State Highway Five is the turn off to Hamilton. About 400 metres before this turnoff on the right is the entrance to Wairakei Village (Kauri Drive). Follow the road into the village where you will arrive at the Village Green. The entrance to the Lodge is at the opposite end of the green.
From South (Wellington): 11km north of Taupo is the turn off onto State Highway One heading towards Hamilton. Take this route and about 350 metres on the right is the entrance to the Wairakei Village (Kauri Drive). Follow the road into the village where you will arrive at the Village Green. You will then see a kiddies playground. The entrance to the Lodge is behind the playground.
